Intel’s latest X79 chipset at 4th quarter 2011 - A Chinese website has leaked the latest roadmap from Intel’s X79 platform. (not the X68 like the one in the rumors prior to this). This chipset will be used for new processors that have been previously known that so-called “Sandy Bridge E” series with new socket LGA2011.
Rumors said that the new platform and CPUs will beat the current winning 990X Intel Core i7. Revealing more information from Intel’s roadmap several features which will look at X79 as shown below.

The main improvement can be seen in the X79.

The new processor will only be available in four cores (4Core) or six cores (6Core) and is expected to have a larger cache memory than current processors.

X79 will support quad-channel DDR3 memory (4 channels) Support clock and memory speed up to 2666MHz.
